Új mód - Battlegrounds Duos

A Battlegrounds Duos egy új játékmód a Battlegrounds-on belül! A Duos-ban te és a társad együtt harcoltok három másik két fős csapattal szemben. Mindegyik csapat megosztott Élettel és Armorral rendelkezik, láthatjátok a másik harcterét és jelzésekkel kommunikálhattok, továbbá a portálon keresztül kártyákat adhattok át egymásnak.

Általánosságban a Battlegrounds változások (mint a lény és a hős változások, a mechanikák változásai, stb.) mindkét játékmódra (BG és BG Duos) érvényesek lesznek. Azonban van néhány, ami Duos specifikus:

• A Duos-ba mehetsz egy barátoddal, vagy egy véletlenszerű társsal rak össze a játék, ha egyedül keresel Duos meccset. Privát Duos meccseket is létre lehet hozni, akárcsak a hagyományos Battlegrounds esetében.
• A Duos-ban a fejlesztés költsége 2 Golddal többe kerül Tavern Tier 4-en, Tier 5-ön, és Tier 6-on.
• Léteznek speciális lények és hősök, melyek csak a Duos-ban érhetőek el (lásd alább).
• A toborzási fázis során rákattinthatsz a Portrálra a kijelző jobb oldalán, hogy átválts a te harcteredről az ellenfélére.
• Jobb egérgombbal (vagy két ujjas érintéssel mobilon) rányomhatsz bármelyik kártyára, vagy gombra a saját oldaladon vagy az ellenfélén, ami felhoz egy speciális menüt (hasonló az Emote-hoz), amivel megjelölhetsz dolgokat a társadnak, ő pedig reagálhat rá, így közös stratégiát építhettek ki!
• A kezedből behúzhatsz kártyát a portálba 1 Goldért, hogy átadd a társadnak. Azonnal megkapják a kártyát (ha tele van a kezük, akkor majd megkapják, ha lesz helyük). Csak a kezedben lévő lapokat küldheted át a portálon. Ha már a harctéren van, nem küldheted a társadnak.
• A Battlegrounds Duos saját pontszámokkal, ranglétrával fog rendelkezni.

Új Battlegrounds Szezon

Április 16-án véget ér a Battlegrounds 6. szezonja és kezdetét veszi a 7. szezon. Tehát az összes pontszám törlésre kerül, a Battlegrounds Questek eltávolításra kerülnek, a Battlegrounds jutalom térkép lefrissül. Az összes eddig be nem gyűjtött (de megszerzett) jutalmat mindenki automatikusan megkapja. A Tavern spellek nem lesznek eltávolítva és mostantól ez a Battlegrounds alapvető részévé válik. A körök tovább tartanak majd egy rövid ideig, hogy mindenki megismerhesse a változásokat.

Csak Duos

Cho (6 Armor)

• Passive. Whenever you play a Golden minion, both you and Gall get a Triple Reward. 
• Csak akkor lehet kiválasztani, ha a társad Gallt választja.

Gall (6 Armor)

• Passive. Whenever you play a Golden minion, both you a Cho get a Triple Reward. 
• Csak akkor lehet kiválasztani, ha a társad Cho-t választja.

The Nameless One (12 Armor)

• Passive. Start of Game: Copy your teammate's Hero Power. 

Flobbidinous Floop (15 Armor)

• [0 Gold] Choose a friendly minion. Start of Combat: Transform it into your teammate's highest-Tier minion. 

Madam Goya (8 Armor)

• [2 Gold] Pass a non-Golden minion. 
• Fejlesztői megjegyzés: Ez a hero power a saját lényeidet és a Tavernben lévő lényeket célozhatja.

Ezek az új hősök minden Battlegrounds Duos meccsen felajánlásra kerülnek a Patch megjelenését követő első két héten át.

Elérhető hősök

• Murloc Holmes nem része az elérhető hősöknek a Battlegrounds Duos-ban. 
  • Fejlesztői megjegyzés: A hero power-je frusztráló játékélményt okoz a csapatjátékos rendszerben.
• Illidan Stormrage ki lett tiltva a Dragon meccsek esetén minden Battlegrounds-ban.
• Sire Denathrius és E.T.C., Band Manager ideiglenesen el lett távolítva az elérhető hősök közül az összes Battlegrounds-ban.
• Professor Putricide ideiglenesen el lett távolítva az elérhető hősök közül a Battlegrounds Duos-ban.

Hős képesség változások

Thorim, Stormlord

• Passive. At the start of the game, Discover a Tier 7 minion to get after you spend 65 Gold. 
• Argent Braggart el lett távolítva a felfedezhető lehetőségek közül. Továbbá a Papa Bear mostantól három 4/4-es Mama Bear-t idéz meg, ami +4/+4-et ad (a Mama Bear egyébként nincsen az elérhető lények között). 

Malygos

• [0 Gold] Replace a card with a random one of the same Tier. (Twice per turn.) 
• Fejlesztői megjegyzés: Eddig csak lényeket célozhatott, most már Tavern spelleket is.

Captain Hooktusk

• [0 Gold] Remove a minion. Discover one from a Tier lower to get. 

Patchwerk

• Passive: Start with 30 extra Health. 
• Fejlesztői megjegyzés: Csal a szöveg változik, hogy megfelelően működjön a Duos-ban is.

The Great Akazamzarak

• [0 Gold] Choose a Secret. Put it into the Battlefield. 
• Fejlesztői megjegyzés: Ahelyett, hogy felfedezne, mostantól mindig ugyanaz a 4 Secret lesz: Venomstrike Trap, Pack Tactics, Autodefense Matrix, és Redemption. A Street Magician (Akazamzarak Buddy-ja) is ezek közül a Secretek közül választ véletlenszerűen. Az Ice Block teljesen el lett távolítva a Battlegrounds-ból.

• Passive. After you buy 4 Battlecry minions, get Brann Bronzebeard. (Once per game.)

Trusty Pup (Tier 1, Beast)

• 1/3. Whenever this takes damage, gain +1 Attack permanently. 

 

Irate Rooster (Tier 2, Beast)

• 3/4. Start of Combat: Deal 1 damage to adjacent minions and give them +4 Attack. 

 

Silver Goose (Tier 2, Beast)

• 2/3. Whenever this takes damage, summon a 2/2 Fledgling with Taunt.

• 1/8. Whenever this takes damage, deal 5 damage to a random enemy minion. 

 

Misfit Dragonling (Tier 1, Dragon)

• 1/2. Start of Combat: Gain stats equal to your Tier. 

 

Glim Guardian (Tier 1, Dragon)

• 1/3. Whenever this attacks, gain +2/+1.

• 3/9. Whenever this takes damage, get a random Tavern spell. (3 times per combat.) 

 

Cord Puller (Tier 1, Mech)

• 1/1. Divine Shield. Deathrattle: Summon a 1/1 Microbot. 

 

Zilliax: Claw Module (Tier 2, Mech)

• 4/3. Taunt. This minion can triple with any Zilliax Modules.

• 3/2. Battlecry: Get a random Tavern spell from Tier 2.

• 3/6. Whenever this takes damage, get a random Spellcraft spell. (3 times per combat.) 

 

Long John Copper (Tier 4, Pirate)

• 4/6. Whenever this takes damage, get a Gold Coin. (3 times per combat.) 

 

Bristling Buffoon (Tier 3, Quilboar)
